M. S. Ali is an independent scholar, writer, and freelance educator.
His research has been supported by competitive grants from The Gates Foundation and the James B. Duke Endowment.
Ali received a world-class education. He obtained his B.A. in Gender Studies from the University of Chicago (2013) and his Ph.D. in History from Duke University (2023).
Ali is currently working on his first book, a new account of the Christian origins of social science in the modern West.
